Sound Effects

Mrs. B's 4/5 class has been thinking about sound effects and practicing for a performance for our Kindergarten buddies. Here is a video for the song "Needing/Getting" by the band OK GO that turns some really big and amazing sound effects into a song.

P.S. - All of OK GO's videos are really cool. I suggest also checking out Here It Goes Again and This Too Shall Pass (Rube Goldberg version). Notice also, how they are all done in one take!

What is lip syncing?

As the day before spring break gets closer, many students are thinking about their entry for the Lip Sync contest. Lip syncing is a fine art. You need to memorize the words to your song. Then, you pretend to sing in time to the music. Some people add dancing to go with their pretend singing, but pretending to sing is the most important part. For a GREAT example of lip syncing, please watch the video below!
